WMLA has listened carefully to the feedback and concerns shared by our families regarding the proposed structure changes for the upcoming season. We appreciate the concerns and conversations that came forward after announcing the structure change to major/minor teams. This led us to carefully reevaluate the structure and team organization that supports our players and coaches at this time.
While the board stands behind the reasoning and long-term developmental benefits of moving to a Major/Minor structure at the U9 and U11 divisions, we have agreed to table the implementation for this season and re-evaluate this shift for next year.

We believe the Major/Minor model can have a positive impact on player development and the long-term growth of our organization, and this will be revisited with continued evaluation and communication.
In the meantime, we encourage all families to complete registration prior to the
Early Bird deadline of February 28 at 11:59 PM to take advantage of savings and help us plan effectively for the season ahead.
